Larvikite is a beautiful rare stone that has the magic of grounding energy mixed with other worldly properties. Sometimes mistaken as Labradorite due to it's blue flash, Larvikite is a rare Monzonite stone that comes primarily from Larvik, Norway (although there is also a Larvikite site near Thunder Bay Ontario in Canada!). Larvikite includes feldspar which give it its special flash. Due to its similarity to Labradorite, it is sometimes known as Black Moonstone / Black Labradorite.
